Brussels, 20/08/2002 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission has approved (by written procedure) an amendment to its anti-dumping law in order to recognise Russia as a market economy. This follows the Declaration made on 29 May at the EU-Russia summit in Moscow (see EUROPE 30 May) to implement this decision. The Council is expected to approve this proposal in the autumn.
