Brussels, 30/07/2002 (Agence Europe) - On 25 July the European Commission opened an anti-subsidy procedure on imports of dynamic random access memory chips ("DRAM") from the Republic of Korea. According to plaintiffs who were at the centre of opening this procedure, manufacturers have benefited from significant subsidies from the Korean authorities.
