30/07/2002 (Agence Europe) - French Foreign Minister Dominique de Villepin confirmed to Le Monde that the former Socialist Minister for European Affairs, Pierre Moscovici, remains the representative of the French government at the European Convention. "We wanted to give preference to a bipartisan approach, and avoid political divide on these European issues that are of interest to all French", said Mr de Villepin.
