18/07/2002 (Agence Europe) - According to statistics released by Eurostat on 17 July industrial production increased by 0.1% in the Euro-zone in May 2002 compared to April 2002. This follows a fall of 0.7% in April. Output in the EU15 increased by 0.2 % in May 2002, after a drop of 0.3% in April. In May 2002 compared to May 2001, industrial production fell by 1.2% in the Euro-zone and by 1.0% in the EU15.
