Brussels, 17/07/2002 (Agence Europe) - On Tuesday Environment Commissioner, Margot Wallström defended the decision taken by the European Commission against ten member states for non-implementation of Wild Birds and Habitats Directives and said that, "EU nature legislation must be better implemented if we are really serious about protecting the Community's endangered wildlife."
