The French specialist chemicals group, RHODIA and the Japanese engineering company ORGANO are going to create a joint-venture for developing and trading in ingredients and food additives to Japan. Baptised as the ORGANO FOOD TECH CO LTD, the new entity will be 49% controlled by RHODIA and its subsidiaries RHODIA FOOD and RHODIA JAPAN and 51% by ORGANO. It is expected to have an initial turnover of around EUR 20 million with the objective of doubling this figure over the next three years and of bringing this up to 50 million over five years.
