04/06/2002 (Agence Europe) - The 90th international labour conference is being held from 3 to 20 June in Geneva, organised by the International Labour Organisation (ILO). The keynote speaker is the Malaysian prime minister Dato'Seri Dr Mahatir Ben Mohamad. More than 3000 representatives (including labour ministers and leaders of workers' and employers' organisations) are expected to attend from the 175 ILO Member States to discuss work with decent working conditions in the informal economy, child labour, accidents at work, occupational disease and conditions and the situation facing workers in the Occupied Territories.
