30/05/2002 (Agence Europe) - The Acodden Network is to hold its first international conference on 30 and 31 May in Malaga (Spain) on the theme "Intercultural Education". The 24 partners of the network will examine the question of interpersonal relations, teaching programmes in diversity, peace and citizenship for children and adolescents, and the role of intercultural documentation centres. The network was launched by the European Jewish Information Centre (CEJI) in the context of the Community programme Socrates Comenius 3 in collaboration with the Levi Strauss Foundation to serve as a reference platform for intercultural education.
