According to Mr Yilmaz, Turkey should make proposals on Cyprus

Athens, 13/05/2002 (Agence Europe) - The Greek press agency ANA asserts that, a few days before the arrival of Kofi Annan in Cyprus, on 14 May, the Turkish Deputy Prime Minister Mesut Yilmaz qualified as inadequate the proposals made by the Turkish Cypriot leader Rauf Denktash on the future of the island. "If Mr Rauf Denktash wants to help Turkey he should behave in a more conciliatory way", said Mr Yilmaz according to ANA, adding that Turkey should make new proposals based "on parameters...
