Community regulation extending freeze on assets to counter Taliban remains in application

Luxembourg, 08/05/2002 (Agence Europe) - The president of the Court of First Instance rejects the request to suspend the regulation that extends the freeze on assets, a measure decided against the Taliban of Afghanistan, to a number of Swedish citizens. The regulation remains in application, states a press release from the Court on the Abdirisak Aden case. President Bo Versterdorf rejects the application for the adoption of interim measures made by Messrs Aden Ali and Yusuf, Swedish citizens...
