Authorisation for aid to passenger transport

Brussels, 08/05/2002 (Agence Europe) - On Tuesday, the Commission gave its clearance for a Portuguese regional aid scheme, "SIRIART", for renewal of the fleet of vehicles allocated to regular collective passenger transport in the Azores region. The region suffers from structural disadvantages due to its insular position.
