Brussels, 15/04/2002 (Agence Europe) - On Tuesday, the Commissioner in charge of Sport, Viviane Reding will be meeting a G14 delegation of the association of the 14 most important football clubs in Europe. This will be composed of Michel Van Praag, President of Ajax, Adriano Galliani, Vice President of Milan AC, Karl-Heinz Rummenigge, President of Bayern Munich, Peter Kenyon, Chairman of Manchester United and Pedro Lopez Jimanez member of the board of directors at Real Madrid. Discussions will focus on TV rights in football, club financing in Europe, possible co-operation fields between the Commission and the G14, in players' health or youth sports training. Members of G14 include Milan AC, FC Milan, Juventus and Turin (Italy), Ajax and PSV Eindhoven (the Netherlands), Real Madrid and FC Barcelona (Spain), Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund (Germany), Liverpool and Manchester United (United Kingdom), PSG and Olympique de Marseilles (France), FC Porto (Portugal).
