15/04/2002 (Agence Europe) - In comments following the decision of the EU Council to appoint Lucas Papdemos, as successor to Christiane Noyer at the European Central Bank, Allan Saunderson from Eurozone Advisors (EZA) (which moniotors ECB), said that this development would, "partly counterbalance the quasi-monetarist old-Bundesbank approach to strategy that still dictates policy.
