05/04/2002 (Agence Europe) - The US Representative for Trade, Robert Zoellick, has warned the European Union against the implementation of retaliatory measures announced against the American decisions on steel imports. From Bangkok, Mr Zoellick declared that "such a unilateral action would not only conflict with what Europeans have said in the past and present, but would strike me as a negative development for the world trading system".
