Opening in Cape Town of fourth plenary session of joint Parliamentary Assembly

Cape Town, 18/03/2002 (Agence Europe) - The fourth plenary session of the joint ACP-EU Parliamentary Assembly of 77 MEPs and one representative each of the 77 African, Caribbean and Pacific countries that signed the Cotonou Agreement opened in Cape Town on Monday without Commissioner Poul Nielson, who is taking part in the international conference in Monterrey this week on funding development.
