Greens say Summit was unsustainable

Brussels, 18/03/2002 (Agence Europe) - For the Greens/EFA group in the European Parliament the Conclusions of the Barcelona Summit "reflect a very traditional approach, based on an economic view focused on deregulation and liberalisation. The Greens/EFA regret that last year's Gotenburg decision to dedicate Spring Councils to sustainable development seems to be completely forgotten.
