GENERAL NEWS / (eu) eu/state aid

15/03/2002 (Agence Europe) - During Thursday evening, the European Commission received notification from the French government of two interventions in favour of the IT company Bull. The first, amounting to EUR 100 million, was paid to Bull last December whereas the second is an additional advance of EUR 350 million. Both aid schemes were notified as rescue aid.
