Commission presents two programmes better to combat fraud, including in field of direct taxation

Brussels, 28/01/2002 (Agence Europe) - On Monday, the European Commission proposed two programmes aimed at helping Member States collaborate more closely in the fight against tax and customs fraud - "Fiscalis 2007" and "Customs 2007" - which will be open to countries candidates for membership and that will replace and strengthen the current programmes that expire and the end of the year.
