Rural development aid in Germany

Brussels, 10/01/2002 (Agence Europe) - On Thursday, the European Commission adopted two German rural development programmes as part of the Leader + initiative - one for Lower Saxony and the other for Thuringia.

  • Lower Saxony. Total expenditure in 2001-2006 on the 17 Local Action Groups will be EUR 93.6 million, including an EU contribution of EUR 34.5 million and EUR 24.6 million from the private sector. The programme will aim to promote integrated and sustainable development, an...
