ECONOMIC INTERPENETRATION / (eu) insurance

The Italian holding company MONTEDISON has announced that it has broken with the Italian insurance firm SAI to which it was to sell nearly 30% of its shares in the insurance company LA FONDIARIA, and decided to sell 24.4% of its shares to TORO, the insurance subsidiary of the FIAT group. The amount of the operation is EUR 630 million corresponding to 6.73 euros per share.
