08/01/2002 (Agence Europe) - At the end of the year, Médecins sans frontières (MSF) launched an initiative called IDEME (Intervention pour les droits des étrangers malades en Europe - Action for foreigners with health problems in Europe) to provide a mechanism to prevent seriously ill foreigners living in Europe without the necessary permits from being deported.
