First discussion on Goebbels Report that wants clarification of directive and emergence of regulator armed with effective sanctions

Brussels, 07/01/2002 (Agence Europe) - At the end of December, the European Parliament's Economic and Monetary Affairs Committee had their first discussions of the draft report by Robert Goebbels (Luxembourg) on the draft directive on market abuse (insider trading) that aims to improve the fight against insider dealing and market manipulation across the EU.
