03/01/2002 (Agence Europe) - The Council of Europe has just finalised a Convention that aims to help children from broken homes to stay in contact with members of their families. The Convention has two main objectives: 1) to ensure that children have regular contact with their two parents, allowing them to visit the parent with whom they do not normally live; 2) to provide guarantees ensuring that children in other countries on these visits are returned afterwards.
