Brussels, 03/01/2002 (Agence Europe) - On 20 December, the European Commission decided not to raise objections to the extension of the British scheme of subsidising freight installations intended to encourage companies to free roads from heavy goods vehicles by helping them invest in freight installations for cabotage and short distance maritime transport. By the same decision, it also authorised an increase in aid to infrastructures for the port of Rosyth.
