28/12/2001 (Agence Europe) - The European Union of Christian-Democrat Workers (EUCDW) welcomed the establishment at the Laeken Summit of a Convention to prepare the next IGC, and, especially, "the planned inclusion of all citizens", notably the social partners in the process. In a press release, the EUCDW (which is an EPP association bringing together 22 worker organisation from 14 counties) also calls on the EU as such to sign up to the European Convention on Human Rights.
