Canadian SUN LIFE has acquired another Canadian company, CLARICA LIFE, by way of 1.5135 SUN LIFE shares for one CLARICA share, thus giving the latter a value of Can$7.3 billion. The new entity created by the merger will have a turnover of nearly Can$22 billion.
