Social Summit to focus on social partners' role in future European governance and social impact of economic change

Brussels, 12/12/2001 (Agence Europe) - The European Social Summit will be held in Laeken (Brussels) on Thursday 13 December from 16: 00 to 18: 30 hrs. Its aim is to assess changes in European social dialogue since it was launched back in 1985 and act as the launchpad for European social partners' future participation in European governance.
