GENERAL NEWS / (eu) eu/services of general interest

26/11/2001 (Agence Europe) - following the Third European Forum on Services of General Interest last week, the CELSIG (Comité européen de liaison sur less services d'intérêt général) is calling on the Brussels-Laeken Summit to come out in favour of adopting a framework directive on services of general interest and for an independent European monitoring centre for services of general interest to be set up as soon as possible.
