Zimbabwe's President rejects Troika's demands

Harare, 23/11/2001 (Agence Europe) - As part of its mission to Africa, the EU Troika held a very tense meeting with President Mugabe on Friday, who once again rejected the EU demands concerning the Presidential elections scheduled for April 2002 (at the end of October 2001, Zimbabwe refused to accept European observers).
