According to the Sunday Telegraph, the Swiss company, NESTLE, the second largest ice-cream producer in the world after UNILEVER, is gearing up to take over the HAAGEN-DAZS ice-cream producer. The Swiss company is planning to first buy out the US company GENERAL MILLS, the US branch of HAAGEN-DAZS, before beginning discussions on obtaining the rights to HAAGEN-DAZS in the whole world.
