19/10/2001 (Agence Europe) - The rise in the price of labour in the second quarter 2001 in the euro zone was revised to 2.8% over a year, Eurostat pointed out on Friday. The latter had announced, according to its first estimates a rise of 2.7%. For the European Union as a whole, in the second quarter 2001, the cost of labour increased by 3.1% over a year, against 3.6% in the first quarter.
