According to EP, East Timor is expected to join the ACP Group

Strasbourg, 08/10/2001 (Agence Europe) - In a resolution on East Timor, the European Parliament calls for the adoption of a Constitution that embodies the values of freedom and democracy. It also invites the international community to contribute to the consolidation of democracy and to economic development in this country.
