Berlusconi to visit Commission on Wednesday

Brussels, 05/10/2001 (Agence Europe) - After German Chancellor Gerhard Schroeder and Dutch Prime Minister Wim Kok, it will be the turn of Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi to be received, on 10 October, by the President of the European Commission, Romano Prodi.

As is the tradition for this type of visit, the two men should discuss the major issues of the moment. This trip to Brussels by Berlusconi has a particular twist due to the fact that it will take place hardly two weeks after...
