In Italy, ATI CARTA (200 bn lira turnover in 2000), paper company belonging to ETI - ENTE TABACCHI ITALIANI, is to be sold to EUROPOLIGRAFICO, a company controlled by RENO DE MEDICI. Following that acquisition, the latter's consolidated turnover should exceed 1,200 bn lira.
