The printers HELIO CHARLEROI (consolidated turnover of 75.6 million euro), controlled equally by the French groups HACHETTE FILIPACCHI MEDIAS (through GRAPHIC GROUP/E2G) and CNP - COMPAGNIE NATIONALE A PORTEFEUILLE, is to be taken over by the Canadian group QUEBECOR WORLD. The world's largest commercial printing firm, the latter has a workforce of 43,000, 5,800 of whom in Europe, and, in this pat of the world, has a turnover of $1.3 bn.
