05/09/2001 (Agence Europe) - The Bureau of the European Parliament, which met in Strasbourg on Monday evening, decided that, after the next enlargement of the EU, all MEPs would keep the right to express their views and to write in their own languages. EUROPE will come back in detail to the report on this subject by Guido Podestà, Forza Italia member, who proposes that full multi-lingualism should be maintained within the European Parliament despite the extra costs entailed.
