European Union firmly condemns violation of cease fire in Macedonia

Brussels, 26/07/2001 (Agence Europe) - In the name of the European Union, the Belgian Presidency made the following declaration: The European Union firmly condemns the violation of the cease-fire in the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia. It sends an urgent call for calm and the full return of the cease-fire. The EU reiterates once more that it is only through dialogue and negotiation that a long lasting solution could be brought to the difficulties experienced at present by the Former...
