In Belgium, the Belgian weaving machine manufacturer PICANOL and the BMT group (moulds for glass, aeronautics, gearing, engineering, glass processing) have concluded a joint venture contract for the manufacture of machine parts and the assembly of gear mechanisms in China. In this context, MCW, the "gears" division of BMT, takes on half of the shares of AMTECH, the fully-owned subsidiary of PICANOL in Suzhou, China. The arrangements for the move have not been made public.
