Just after the purchase of the cable network of DEUTSCHE TELEKOM in six German regions (see EI of 23 June), LIBERTY MEDIA (American group AT&T) is, according to the Welt am Sondag, in negotiations with DEUTSCHE BANK, for the takeover of TELE-CLOMBUS, another cable operator. The sale price could exceed a billion euro.
