- France: as expected, the French Government has decided to float 25% of SNECMA on the stock exchange in the autumn. SNECMA (FF 42.1 bn turnover in 2000) is a company specialized in building engines and in which the state still has a 97.3% stake. This operation should make the State FF 1 bn.
