THE DAY IN POLITICS / (eu) eu/belgian presidency

18/06/2001 (Agence Europe) - French-speaking Socialist Senator (PS) Philippe Mahoux and Flemish Liberal Deputy (VLD) Pierre Chevalier have been entrusted by the future Belgian EU Presidency with the task of drawing the conclusions of the debate on the future of Europe. These conclusions will be integrated in the Laeken Declaration in December.
