The Dutch group ING is to take over control of the largest Mexican insurance company SEGUROS COMERCIAL AMERICA. The company held by businessman Alfonso Romo, that has been suffering financial difficulties, will be taken over by ING by selling it its 45% stake for $791 million. The Dutch group already held 42% of the Mexican company and intends to make a bid for acquiring the remaining 13%.
