07/06/2001 (Agence Europe) - At its meeting in Brussels on 29 May, the Bureau of the European Economic and Social Committee decided, on a proposal by Secretary General Patrick Venturini, to appoint Nicolas Alexopoulos to the post of Director at the Directorate of General Affairs. Nicolas Alexopoulos, who succeeds Giovani Di Muro (who has reached retirement age).
