Paris, 19/02/2001 (Agence Europe) - The French Senate's Delegation for the European Union, presided over by Hubert Haenel had, on 24 January, a discussion over the Nice Treaty and, very rapidly, published a report on this issue entitled "The Nice Treaty". The account of this debate emphasises in relatively subtle judgments over this heavily criticised treaty, and Mr Haenel asserts in particular that id one "takes this problem from either end, one could not arrive at a very different result"....
