19/02/2001 (Agence Europe) - The EP, in adopting on Wednesday, the report by Anne Jensen (Liberal group, Danish: see summary in EUROPE of 12/13 February, p.15) on the draft decision on the Community incentive measures in the field of employment, amended the proposal made by the European Commission by insisting in particular over the participation of social partners, local authorities and citizens, - a better coordination of procedures in terms of employment and economic policy in general; - public access to the assessment of national plans for employment and the annual report on employment by the European Commission.
