British COMPASS (turnover £8.302 billion for the financial year 1999-2000) has announced the acquisition for cash of the American group MORRISON MANAGEMENT (group catering for hospitals and retirement homes; turnover $441.1 million for the financial period 1999-2000) for $563 million.
