IUSACELL, Mexico's second mobile phone operator with around 1.5 million subscribers, has announced that PERALTA, one of its shareholders, plans to sell 34.5% to the British operator VODAFONE for USD 973.4 million. Fellow operator VERIZON will nonetheless keep a controlling share with 37%.
