Loan for modernisation of rail network

Luxembourg, 28/12/2000 (Agence Europe) - The European Investment Bank has lent the Czech Railway Company, Ceske Drahy, EUR 160 million for the modernisation of several sections (98 kilometres in all) of its railway, which are part of the Berlin-Vienna and Warsaw-Vienna corridors of the Trans-European Network (TEN).
