ECONOMIC INTERPENETRATION / (eu) hygiene products

German chemist HENKEL plans to sell to its US partner ECOLAB the total control of their joint venture HENKEL-ECOLAB (turnover about EUR 930 million expected in 2000). In exchange for its participation, HENKEL may, on the other hand, choose either a 35% rise in its stake in the parent company ECOLAB, which is currently at 25.4%, or cash reimbursement.
