French robot manufacturer FINUCHEM has merged BEMA and POLYMATIC INDUSTRIE, two of its robotics subsidiaries, to give rise to BEMA INGENIEURIE, which groups the design and production means. The combined turnover of the two companies will reach FF 400 million in 2000 as opposed to 1 billion for the whole of FINUCHEM. Other subsidiaries of the group are expected to join the new entity at a later date.
